PBO – KEVLAR 600 °C PADS
PBO is a very high-strength fiber. PBO – KEVLAR pads, containing PBO fibers on the outer layer, are characterized primarily by high temperature resistance (up to 600°C) and high abrasion resistance. PBO – KEVLAR pads are used mainly in the initial phase of aluminum extrusion in the high temperature zone (above 500°C) on parallel moving beams of the cooling table.
